Extraction

A tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth or remaining fragments of a tooth. With a detailed medical history review, we will guarantee your safety and comfort during the procedure. In certain situations, a tooth extraction is necessary and Dr. Vahe will provide the detailed reasoning for the diagnosis. Do not hesitate to ask more about the procedure, we would love to explain!

Do I Need an Extraction?

You might need an extraction if:
• Creating space for braces in crowded arches
• Large decay that makes the tooth unrestorable with a crown or restorative dentistry
• The tooth doesn’t have periodontal support (adequate bone levels supporting the tooth)
Severe infection that has damaged the tooth and bone beyond what is salvageable
